Wow, I can’t believe it has been a year since I was Ordained and Inducted as your Minister! And what a year it has been – most of it in ‘lockdown’ or some sort of restrictions preventing normal worship and activities, and now we are on the cusp of another month-long (at least) lockdown. Sadly, no fireworks to celebrate this year (my Ordination happened to coincide with the town firework display last year), but I think we have achieved a lot during these strange times – weekly Sunday services online and sent out in paper form, a mid-week group meeting since July, some House Groups, both in person and by Zoom, a weekly newsletter sent out since March, a new Christmas Appeal, and we have several things planned for Christmas that the Corona virus can’t spoil!
